The family has the wood that they sent to me. Lightest piece of wood I've ever handled. Guess it's from drying out all these years.

yea.

hey, on a side note. i gave away a bunch of wood to a guy fighting depression. he forges knives to distract himself from pain (dunno - i didnt get into it).

i found one more small chunk of old cocobolo wood. also feather light. you can have it if you want it. it's enough for one knife - i think.

cool.

it's a perfect piece for a pair of knife scales. i'll go rummage for it tonight. i saw it while rooting around for lantern fuel.
