Walnut handled Chefs knife

I hope the family likes what I did with the 85 year old piece of walnut cut by the owner's grandfather. Steel is 0-1.

The family has the wood that they sent to me. Lightest piece of wood I've ever handled. Guess it's from drying out all these years.

yea.

hey, on a side note. i gave away a bunch of wood to a guy fighting depression. he forges knives to distract himself from pain (dunno - i didnt get into it).

i found one more small chunk of old cocobolo wood. also feather light. you can have it if you want it. it's enough for one knife - i think.
