I just picked up a 12'x15' from R.D. Bussard & Son in Albany, OR. after a bunch of deliberation. I consulted lot's of folks as well as an outfitter I know on what options I wanted/ needed. I've stayed in them, help set them up, tear them down, but never payed attention to the details. I think the best piece of advice I got from an outfitter buddy of mine was buy local if you can- sure nice to drop off for repairs or alterations rather than ship. Andy was great to work with ensuring I got every part and piece I wanted/ needed, stove sized correctly, etc.. ALOT of folks from my area run their tents with nothing but good to say. It will be ready July 1st.
Hadn't heard of that one. I'll have to look them up. Thank you.

Here's the story of my stove.
Started with a 35 Gallon Drum

Cut out the middle section and had my daughter weld the end pieces back together.

Paint the stove with High Temp spray paint for stoves and gave it a burn.

Took it on a bear hunt. We got snowed in for the whole day and spent a lot of time playing with the stove.

I still have to work out a few little kinks, but I'm really impressed.

Free - Barrel
Free - Welding
$70 Stove Kit
$20 Spray Paint
$5 Caulk
So, less than $100?

Stove kits online run around $45 or so before shipping.
I bought mine at the local hardware store.

Be advised!!! Most kits are for 55 gallon drums and NOT 35 gallon drums. Don’t trust what they say online without some extra research.
I had to do some serious mods to make this kit fit the 35
