Hello everyone,
I have some questions about walking closures in Montana. I'm already reaching out to the USFS, but I thought I would ask here as well. I have read the state law that states it is illegal to shoot from a highway and the USFS site says you cannot shoot from or across a forest road. Is it legal to shoot on or from undesignated/closed or gated roads? Do roads and trails on timberlands that allow public access have the same regulations?
