PA loves leaving the interpretation up to the WCO.In Pa. Trapping laws say no visible bait. So if you want to set a trail going to a dead deer how far away do I have to be? I have yet to get an answer from any wardens I have asked. There has to be a distance but no one knows it.

In Pennsylvania, you must notify the game commission when tracking after shooting hours.
I think it's a 'gotcha' clause where a WCO can throw an extra charge at you if they catch you doing shenanigans after dark.I don't track at night any more but did a lot those the past. I called the PGC once to report it and they had no idea what I was talking about.

This one i disagree with. There was a wyoming bow hunting guide who was killed by a bear while cutting up an elk about 15 years ago.
