You like your gk’s performance on animals?
I was very impressed with performance of the tipped version, pretty much exactly what I had hoped for.

6.5 PRC 140gr 130 yards, entry at a slightly downward angle. About a 4" diameter exit of destruction, died instantly.

Elk was 284 Win with 165gr, 1st shot slightly downward angle 300 yards lower exit, 2nd shot 150 yards level, center height behind shoulder. Expired quickly, mostly bloody sinew on offside shoulder not much actual damage.

I have taken more than several whitetails, three pronghorn, an elk, and two black bear with GKs. The bullets performed just fine in each case. I do think Accubonds are probably a better choice for elk or larger animals, but the GKs have always performed well for me at distances from 70 to 500 yds in a variety of calibers. They are a superbly accurate cup and core bullet.
