74lber sounds like about what i got this year. Was bear hunting for a couple weeks and git the call to go up to alaska, so when i spotted a bear at 350 yards before dark on my last day to hunt bear for the year i wasnt in any mood to worry about estimating size. Tasty bear anyway.

I hope to be one of those wet siders invading your stomping grounds this year. I have 6 spring bear points, so I'm expecting to draw.

Back to one of the earlier points...the increase in tags seemed to only be in the NE corner...not the Blues for example. I struck out but just bought my Idaho license. I'm gonna do some research and hunt near Hells Canyon or a bit further east spot and stalk. If I get lucky I may go back in June to try out one of the 2nd tag units.

My grandma drew spring bear Wa for the 3rd year in a row. This year it will be Kelly hill. Kind of puts a damper on my idaho but I think her and I can get hers done up there in a long weekend.
