What is recommend center shot measurement? Also how do the stock Top Hats work. Is one longer than the other? If so which is the long side?

Mathews recommends 13/16" to start for center shot. The top hats will have a thin side and thick side. If you are getting a nock left tear put the thicker too hat on the right side of the cam when looking from behind the bow which moves your string to the left. Opposite for right tear. If swapping both tophats doesn't fix your tear you will need a tophat kit.

Yes. If it's a small tear you can try flipping the top hats on just one cam, if it's large tear do both. The top cam has more effect than the bottom.
