Vx3i high recoil

I recently bought a lightweight (5lb 12oz) 325 wsm. I want to put a leupold vx3i 3.5-10x40 on it. Just wondering if anybody has had any issues with these scopes not handling the recoil or having enough eye relief?

Use dual dovetail mounts and rings. Eye relief is fine on mine. I had itnnounted on a 338 winmag. I did have a standard ring/mount fail and that caused me to go dual dovetail on all my big hitters.

Yup, definitely dual dovetail. Leupold Vx3i are solid hunting scopes and hold zero well. You have nothing to worry about.

I have several Leupold scopes including the Vx3i and I've been very satisfied and problem free.

I have the VX3i mounted in DNZ Game Reaper on Tikka T3 SL in 7RM. No problems.

I run the VX3 3.5-10x40 with CDS on my Kimber Montana 325 and it is perfect. Love it and it remains very accurate for me.
