Anyone try the VPA hole punch?
Specific on Elk?
-Also tuning. Given that not vented design. I've steered towards vented blades on my fixed heads

I shot the regular VPAs when they came out. They were better than Montecs but I ended going with a 2-blade after them. The VPAs are pretty spendy but good steel. I’d question the necessity of bleeders with that head- lots of drag (penetration-wise), for probably not much more blood, but I’m just speculating…

I had to look those up....and all I was thinking was- why? Their regular heads are very good.

VPA has never been one of those gimmick companies......
They're made specifically for my local archery shop. VPA didn't come up with the initial idea, the archery store wanted something with their brand on it. I'm a big fan of the original VPA 3 blades... this thing looks a bit gimicky to me, but it's apparently s7 tool steel and higher RC hardness if that matters.

Yeah, they are pretty small, looking at the spec sheet, blade length about 0.25 inches shorter and overall height almost 1/2 inch shorter.....maybe too small for elk?
