Not to divert the attention too much, but I happened to notice this article in the newspaper in Ketchum, ID yesterday. If you want to know how viruses spread, here's one way. Don't think for a second that CO is alone in this fight. Dan Ashe is former USFG.

If this passes in Colorado, we will be fighting it in all western states the next election cycle. It needs to be stomped so far into the ground that all these orgs are set back 15 years. It needs to lose and lose by a landslide to show that there is a lot of work to be done. If it only loses by .1%, they will keep trying.

Once we have to start fighting it on multiple fronts. It will require more time and resources. It needs to be stopped right where it’s starting.

We need a constitutional right to hunt in CO full stop.

To your point, why are we always reactive vs proactive for something like this? We should be just as aggressive if not more than the left.

We are always reactive because the nature of conservative-minded people is to not do something unless something is needing done - we are largely busy enough living our own lives and would rather stay out of most things. Progressive leftists actively look for things to change to try to make the world how THEY want it - they are, counter to their claims, utterly intolerant of things they do not agree with. They push agendas to force others to comport with their way of thinking. They are smart, devious, and unrelenting.

C.S. Lewis said it best:

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”

And by the way, if it comes up in Colorado, or anywhere else (IDAHO I am talking to you), vote NO on ranked choice voting. This is a method leftists use to flood primaries/elections with like-minded candidates that all serve the same master. It is NOT the egalitarian/every-vote-matters BS you are being sold.

Portland has 19, yes 19 people running for Mayor. The majority well left of center. This is how leftist ideologies, like anti-hunting, sweep in...

Y’all. We are very fortunate on the timing of the ad.

Current CPW commissioners wrote an opinion piece that was published one page in front of us. The pro prop 127 by the commissioners is a disgrace and should disqualify them from public service. @Howl For Wildlife , is this even legal?

Thanks for doing this. Just know that a constitutional right doesnt hurt, but it WILL NOT prevent this stuff. Pass one, it helps, but they will still try to take away every single opportunity and tag that isnt an absolute biological necessity. Please trust me on this, from a state that has had a constitutional right to hunt and fish since 1777. We’re still fighting the same battles.

Have been thinking on this. I think an additional measure is the need to change who elects CPW commissioners, something like put it to County Commissioner vote.

I have always wondered why a group has not initiated a ballot that states all wildlife management must be decided by the DWR? Basically outlaw ballet box biology.

Risk is you get a gov like we have now and you lose a ton via a commission that will just ban everything….

I think additional step is to remove Govenor’s appt power for CPW. Maybe county commissioners pick?

Absolutely agree, it should be a person who is closer to a the community who can be held accountable at a local level faster than once every 6 years… we would still get ultra animal rights activists of certain counties though
