Hey guys. Wondering if anyone has any experience with Vortex Razor HD 27-60x85mm spotter and optional 22x fixed wide angle eyepiece?
I got the spotter earlier this year before my sheep hunt and like it a lot. But going into it I knew that starting 27x power may be too much for let’s say deer hunts or where I’m not glassing miles n miles away.
*I do have 15-45x65mm Maven CS.1A for backpack hunts when I don’t need to glass super far.
So with vortex spotter being higher end I am interested in possibly picking up that fixed 22x wide angle eyepiece as my main scanning country use. And probably if I’m hunting areas where I know I won’t be glassing too far I can just stick with 22x and leave 27-60 piece at home.
Just asking If anyone has this eyepiece, how’s the image vs at 27x. Is it worth it for that 5x reduction? Anything you feel like sharing I’m all ears. Thanks
