i recently got this scope for my 300 rum. Is this a good scope for this gun? Or should i have went bigger, or done something different?

Definitely don’t need to go bigger. It’s a ok scope. There are plenty of scopes out there with better optics and are much more reliable in the dialing department if that’s what you plan on doing? It also depends on your budget? That might be the scope for you if it’s in your budget. Do you plan on dialing a lot? If so I’d definitely consider some other brands.

It kinda depends on distance that you’ll be shooting as well. If you never plan on shooting past 500 + yards 24 power is too much in my opinion. Not that you have to use all the magnification in a optic but for $400 it’s a decent scope. If you have more money to spend on a scope I say do it. You can never go wrong getting better glass!
