Vortex Razor vs HD

I have a pair of 10x42 Vortex Razors and was wondering if there is a major difference between them and the HDs?

Yes, super major difference. I owned the original non-hd version. The hd version (what is being sold on the market now) is a huge upgrade.

I had the original Razor as well. I feel like the optics in my Talon HD are better. The newer Razor HD is a huge step up.

I have the razor HD's and theyre amazing. Compared them with swaros, and theyre right there for a grand less

My assumption is that they probably share some marketing terms with each other, but the coatings are probably different in some ways to account for differences in the overall optical design.

If it were me, I would probably go all out for the HDs.
