Does anyone have any feedback on the 12X after using them for a year or two? I would love to hear opinions on 8,10,12,15 X. What is the best around for the west and if you need a tripod.

I have been using the 12X for over 2 years now. I like them more than the Swaro 10X42 SLCs I had (non Swarovision model) and the Zeiss Victory 10X32s FLs as well. My wife has the 10X42 Razor HDs now as she was wanting a bit more magnification than her 8X32 Victory FLs and gonna use the Razors for a year before commiting to selling off her beloved Zeiss 8X32s Victories. I am sold on the 12X for where I typically glass. I know a lot of people don't like 12X as its too much of a good thing most think, but I don't feel it is.

I was able to use the Razors 8x42 and both the conquest 8x32 and 8x42. The biggest difference for me is was ergonomics, the conquest felt better in my hand.
Brightness and clarityI would have been hard pressed to see a difference.
I ended up with the conquest ...and I got an insane deal on them.
