For backpack hunting I would get the 65 or 50mm scope. I have the 85 and it works fantastic from the truck or shorter hikes.

Being the 85 is same price as the 65 would you go with 65 for the lighter weight just over a pound or go with the 85 better for early morning and evening but heavier , im a hard core bow hunter , do you think the 85 is to big for backpack hunting

Depends on your intended use, but I prefer to go with a bigger spotter myself.

Agree with Justin here....I like my 85mm 75X zoom spotter. I only cuss it while its in my pack. Once I get to where I am going its worth every oz (all 20+ of them ) over a 65mm

Hmmmm, it's showing $1,599 for me as well. Not sure if I want it to show 1198 or not as I'd definitely be sleeping in the garage for a week if I bought it.

Wow, when I look it up on my phone it is 1198 as well!!!!!!!!

FYI I had the exact same issue. Phone/Ipad woudl show the 1198 price but the PC would show the 1599 price. I also sent them an email about this questioning it and got a response that they would lower the price to 1425 or something. Whopee, the phone works and also the ipad showed the sale price unsure why but you had the same issue I originally had.
