Like most who contemplate these models… "It does you no good if one finds it too heavy to bring alone"
Thus this model fills that niche….
But….

Curious as to how clear these units are on full magnification..
Do users of these run them full out?… or is the sweet spot somewhere in the middle?

I realize they aren't a big spotter… but if they aren't very bright or clear at full tilt … then whats the point I guess.

Would some higher power binoculars be a better option? I already run 10X42 Razors and a SS-P tripod

Any digi pics to give me an idea of potential performance.

Thank you again for your opinions… and good luck out there this season!

I have found mine to be clear throughout the entire range it is zoomed. It really is a sweet little scope. I have ditched my big binos and am looking for some 8x's for quick spotting. If youve got to stop and and set up a tripod you might as well use this little guy. Its got more magnification and is lighter than your typical 10x or 15x binos. Really comfortable to look through.

Not too bad heat distortion...at 85 degrees its tough no matter what scope your running...

…well …. a used one popped up on my local board today at a great price. Perfect timing! It's on it's way.

Thanks again everybody!

So i have one now. So far so good. But like others have said in different threads…. The relief on the flexible eye cup isn't the greatest. I find myself really pushing my face and eye into it to get a larger field of view at max zoom. In fact it's more comfortable to just fold it back and look through it as if I was wearing eyeglasses.
This sound normal to you guys with one?
I also have a phone scope kit on the way…. hopefully it works out.

So folding over the eyepiece is something I do as well. And the phoneskope adapter works very well for me. this razor wont do it all but it's a damn good option for the weight conscious.
