I'm buying my first rangefinder and think Vortex is the way to go after reading posts here. Warranty & not buying in the upper price-point.
The best I can tell, the differences between these two models is max distance capabilities, and Red vs. Black display, and I think the Ranger has Tripod mounts and the Impact does not (correct me if I'm wrong). Anything else?
Is the visual performance any different? Has anyone handled both and have an opinion? Does the Red vs. Black effect field performance?
TX whitetail now, but working towards western big game soon. Archery & Gun. I do wear glasses.
Let me know what you'd do.
