Vortex: China or Japan?

Early Viper/Razors were Japan and say so on the dial.

The Razor AMG rifle scope is made in WI

I was wrong. I thought they were originally made here. Anyway I ended up with some HD Razors made in japan. Seem good quality so far.

A quick look on the net shows the vortex hd's at about $1000 and the UHD's at 1450. Doug has a pair of Leica ultravid 8x42 at 1400 and 10x42 at 1450.

Present 65 and 85 mm Razor Spotters are assembled in USA. Razor AMG scope is made in USA.
