Vortex Bino Question

Any opinions - Vortex Razor HD 10x42, 10x50 or 8x42 for archery elk? Thanks!

I have 10x50's going on about 5 seasons. No issues

I picked up a set of Razor 10x42 HD's last year. I actually had intended to buy a pair of zeiss but when I had the opportunity to compare side by side, the Razors (for me) felt far better in hand and I could pick out more detail while test vieweing. Have zero complaints thus far after using them in thick timber elk hunting to wide open bear and mule deer hunting. I'ved used various 10x42's for years and hunt very open country for spring bear to very thick stuff for blacktail and the 10x42's seem to be a good fit.

With what I've spent on vortex optics trying to save money, I could've bought a swarovski spotter and bino.

I personally would rather buy a pair of binos from Walmart then own anything by vortex.

Guess if you only use them a month or so every year they would be ok...Nah forget that, I wouldn't own another pair of low end glass if they paid me

Vortex warranty is nice but I know far to many people who have had to use it. Also know many that have had no problems with vortex.

I’ll be the first to admit I am not a fan of vortex optics so can’t give any specifics on the binos themselves.

I do think 10s are a really good option for the open country glassing and timber hunting you may be experiencing. I have a pair of 12 swaros and they are not good at all in thick timber.
