Huh right part number for the lr model, but wrong picture and description. The lr model should have exposed turrets

Forgot to mention that, the picture and description is for the plain HS, but I did receive the HSLR with the exposed elevation turret.

I just popped into my local sportsman's and was able to pick one up. They gave me the correct model, even though the picture is wrong online as well as the paper ad. Thanks for posting this one!

So I received mine yesterday, and it was the HS not the HSLR. I did a little internet sleuthing and is seems like the HSLR 44mm objective is now discontinued. I think I'll go do some battle with Sportsmans to see what happens, but I do think this is still a pretty good deal on a rifle scope. However, I feel annoyed that I did not receive what was advertised. Maybe I just drew the short straw though

I got the HSLR. I'd think Sportsman's would make it right for you

Is the only difference between the 44mm and 50mm objective the lens size?

Go in expecting the scope to be a marginal at best and do not rely upon Vortex''s warranty to cover you.

Been there, done that with both the HS and HS LR .

Vortex blamed the rifles they were on and the scopes were "in spec". Funny how 20 MOA rails (used as a bandaid) fixed the "faulty" rifles and allowed enough elevation to be dialed to reach a jaw dropping 100 yards (which wasn't possible before).

What issues have you seen?
Object wouldn't turn making it a fixed power. Sent back twice. So it's never going to see a hunting gun again. All my vortex stuff has been sent back. Two Diamondback binos stuff was falling off them (sons), this viper scope, and my razor spotter. So for me I won't buy from them again. To much time wasted on them.
