Hey Roksliders
I've had the jacket since 2014 and figured it was time for an updated review. I realize this jacket (2.5 layer/50D )has been replaced with the Vapor Stormlight (2.5 layer/20D) or the SEAK (3.5 layer/50D) but Kenton said a user could expect similar performance/wear in the jackets

The pants tested are the new line of Boundary Stormtight (50D) pants. Pants can't be as light as jackets as they get the abuse from the brush and sitting. I still feel like these pants are very lightweight, though. With just a few days on them, I can only guess on the durability, but like the video says, my jacket is 50D and it's wearing very well.

Breathability is really good if you ask me. No I haven't done head-to-head with other brands, but if I can climb out of a 1500 vertical foot canyon in an hour an not be soaked, it's breathable enough for me.

Vapor Stormlight: Vapor Stormlight Ultralight Rain Jacket

SEAK: SEAK Stormtight Heavy Duty Jacket

Boundary Stormtight Pant: Boundary Stormtight Pant

Anyone still using the FL Boundary Stormtight Jacket?
winner winner for digging up the oldest thread today.

I ran that jacket until 2022 before I shredded it. Much of the wear n tear came from the back of a horse but I gotta give it an A for hanging that long.

The proof I liked it is that I bought another one (with my own money) and am 2 seasons into it now.

To be fair, we don't get a ton of rainy days compared to someone in say PNW.

LOL!

Thanks for getting back to me! I'm glad to know it's made that lasting of an impression on you! I got a hand me down with the chest pocket zipper missing (will probably fix with some Tenacious Tape) and the wrist cuffs are pretty stretched (will look to hem them) and was curious if it's worth the time and effort.

I had one that needed to be replaced, the inner lining started to fall off. Then they replaced it with a Stormlite, that did the same thing. I haven't worn this thing in years because of this issue, they wouldn't replace it the second time because I didn't have an order number since I got it on an RMA. I ended up replacing it with a SG M5.
