Victory Rip vs Rip TKO - I ordered the wrong arrows....

All,
I pulled a bone head an ordered the wrong shafts.... I meant to order TKO's and apparently ordered the standard rips. My plan was to get some TKO's in gamer and shoot them all summer with points and then buy some TKO elites for my broadheads for the fall. Do you think these standard rips will fly close enough to the gamer TKOs that I can use them for the same purpose? They have the same 8.8 gpi. Or should I just bite the bullet, sell these shafts and go for the TKO's.

I had rips and rip tko’s. They flew pretty much identical, only difference i saw was the rip’s were not as durable. As long as you keep the total arrow weights the same i dont think you’ll see much difference.

That's what I'm hoping for. Alright I'll run these for 3D And get some TKOs for hunting.

I am by no means an expert, but i have tried to absorb as much archery knowledge as I can the last few years. I've heard multiple, knowledgeable archery guys discuss the "straightness" of an arrow, and if I were you I wouldn't worry about it. Probably a good chance these are just as straight as the .003" arrows. If they're uncut, and you are able to cut them to length from each end then you'd up your chances even more of that. If the arrow weight is where you want it, then I would not spend the money. Focus on getting your bow tuned properly, form right, etc. 95% of us aren't good enough to where there is a difference between .006" and .001" in my opinion.

I would caveat this with - if it's always going to be bugging you in the back of your mind then maybe it's worth it as a lot of archery is confidence in your equipment. It's all a trade off between time and money, but performance wise I think there is little argument to do it.

They’ll fly the same. Same spine, gpi, same components. Other than appearance you wont notice a difference.
