Vector X SMR

I have a pair coming in Monday along with a 5700 elite. I had been using a Zeiss victory rf, but wanted something with a little more tech and a better interface/app and pairing function.

Went with the SMR for glassing purposes and I dont have plans on using the range extenders with this set.

Anyone here have some time behind these now that they have been released? I'm hoping the optical clarity is better than the revics and kilos. I was willing to sacrifice a bit if they aren't as clear as the zeiss, but if they are that would be amazing. I'm hoping the display is really bright as well because I hunt high desert areas where it can get hard to see display at times.

Glass is excellent. On par with the leica’s I had really close to my nl’s. Shouldn’t have any problems with the glass

Is the display brighter than the zeiss?

I don’t know ive never seen the zeiss. But they I’ve had no issues in the bright NM sun

Alright ,I have them in hand now and I'm very impressed with these things. I dont feel like I lost any optical clarity. But the color is not as bright as the zeiss. Zeiss glass makes things look almost more colorful than it actually is if that makes sense.

As far as ranging capabilities it blows the zeiss out of the water. I havent even dived deep into the capability and app yet but the first impressions are super.
