Vasectomy

Got mine done 2 years ago - the week after rifle season. Not bad at all. They gave me Xanax to take prior to the procedure to relax... it worked great, then just local anesthetic . I remember chatting with the Dr. during the procedure and saying "those meds you gave me must really be working because I don't care what you do down there." After that, I was sore for probably a day, maybe 2. I got it done in the morning and was back to work the following day with some lifting restrictions. It did take more reps to be "CLEAR" than I thought, but after a few months of being careful it's awful nice to not have to worry one bit. I love my kids, but 2 is plenty. Fun part about living in a small town... my doctors kid was on the Tball team I coached and my mother-in-law works at the lab and was probably reading my test results from my samples.

Is there any clear relation between vasectomy and prostate cancer?

Upon talking with a gentleman in my neighborhood one day, if at all possible, a person needs to opt for the operation method where... they embed a Radioactive "seed" into a region that's become cancerous... leave it there for a bit so the radiation kills within a certain radius of itself.. then they go back in and clean up the area afterwards.

Apparently there is a much less likely chance of developing incontinence as a result of the surgery where they employ this radioactive "seed" technique??

K, wat? Lol never ever heard of something like this.

I'm scheduled for the middle of July. Can't say I'm too worried about it.

Curious how long after the procedure you all were cleared to "play freely without consequence"?

i think it vaires, took me 4 or 5 months because they kept finding 3 or 4 live ones. Doc said i musta had some back eddy they were hanging out in.

My doctor said fire off 60 or three months, whichever happens first. Then get checked to see is you still have any swimmers. This is the most important part. GO BACK FOR THE ALL CLEAR.

I heard somebody say it feels like blue balls. Is that accurate?
That's pretty accurate. Dull pain that just doesn't go away for the first 48ish hours

Interestingly enough I work in a lab and can do the follow up testing myself which seams convenient.

My buddy said they taped his weener to his belly for the procedure and the worst part of it all was when they pulled the tape off. :ROFLMAO:
