Has anybody tried their new “Float” device? Look interesting but curious if it’s very “clicky” or noisy? Appears to allow the limb driven rest arm be flipped up without drawing the bow. Seems neat, but I’ve never had an issue walking around with an arrow nocked (finger over the arrow shaft to secure it). I’m using Vapor Trail Gen 7 with the string routed to the bottom limb.

I’ve killed way north of 50 whitetails out of tree with limb driven rests, and probably another 20 critters from the ground with them.

I see no need for this product. It’s a solution looking for a problem.

Me personally, I don’t have a need for it, but this does address what seems to be an ongoing gripe about limb driven rests from some people. Good on ‘em for providing more options to shooters.

I do not see a purpose for this product. One more thing that could go wrong.

With a cage your arrow is always in the position needed for the rest to pick up the shaft during the draw.

The float on my bow has been used for over 7500 activations now and is going strong I have it mounted with a victor arrow rest and a R7 on the wife's mathews RS she has about 2500 arrows through hers I have my victor mounted to the top limb and the float in the upper third of the cable mounted upside down it operates flawlessly so far for me and the "click" is not loud at all this is a very good way to keep the arrow at brace and limit the amount of movement the arrow has within the cage I found it really useful during spring turkey for stalking in and getting closer for a shot in the timber. I dont hunt from a tree stand im a western hunter but I find it extremely useful for spot and stalk situations where you have that arrow loaded and limiting the opportunity for that arrow shaft to contact the riser. I also see it as an advantage for target archery as well as hunting in the aspect of with the float you can ensure the launcher is at full brace with every shot if your like me and set up limb driven rests to fall sooner and not have a long loose section of cord dangling at full draw then this allows you to keep that slack fully under control amd still ensure the launcher is at full up every time no chance of the cable possibly being to tight even because it wouldn't allow it. Is it going to be for everyone nope nothing ever is but is there certainly some real benifits to many absolutely.
