Wondering what is better in terms of breathability and i havent seen much of a comparison. i know the stormlight doesnt have pit zips but from what ive read it breathes well with the pockets open. how about compared to the stormtight with the pit zips though? which is quieter? assume the stormtight is more durable as it is heavier

I'm interested in a detailed comparison between here two jackets also. Hopefully someone has experience with both.

The Vapor is very light and has no pit zips. I sent mine back. The SPEAK is a couple oz. heavy er than the original but way better made

I have the original stormtight. Good kit. She'd rain. Fairly quiet. Mine took some decent tears when a thorn bush dragged across my shoulder. I would put the stormtight and I presume the vaporlite in the category of wet weather gear you take when you don't think you are going to need it. Light. Packable.

For more frequent use i would look at something more durable. Seak. Sitka storm front.
