Been debating between Iron Will, Day Six, and QAD Exodus. Don’t like the idea of re-fletching my arrows for the Iron Will. Currently running Super Saber Mini in a three degree left.

Day Six doesn’t say what they recommend.

Those who shoot them, what have you found for vane needs?

We sort of say what we recommend, our factory fletch is all AAe Hybrid 26s. Depending on the level of your tune you can get them to shoot with just a straight 3 fletch, most customers end up with a 4 fletch just for the extra insurance.

Thanks. Kind of what I was afraid of. Just built four dozen arrows and definitely don’t want to strip them.

Think I’ll just put the 70 pound mods on and stick with mechanicals.

I appreciate the info.

I have gotten D6 heads and blades to fly with a whole assortment of vanes.

I get pissed in dealing with vanes and what it takes to glue them. My current D6 shafts have Bohning alpha? Vanes, fly just fine. I have used AAE stealth, or max, but they are a pia to glue.

Its not complicated, get enough vane height for what you are wanting to shoot, then find a something that fits. I prefer the easiest damn thing to glue on.

Bohning are typically the easy button, but lots of vanes will work in my experience. Find something .47 tall, or if using .165 shafts you will need .55 or better likely, and glue them on.

I’ve shot them for the past few years and my arrows are fletched with 3 max stealth vanes offset 3 degrees on Easton Axis shafts. They shoot really good out to about 70 yards.
