Utah Group App draw process and limited

Does anyone know off hand how the Utah deer draw works?

I plan to put in for a Group App for General Season.

I also plan to put in individually for Limited Deer.

If I draw the Limited Deer hunt, what happens to my General deer group app? I was planning to share points with my daughter and son-in-law. Does the limited tag invalidate the group app? or do they stay in as a group? If so I assume the new points amount would be based just off theirs?

I can say for sure that they run the limited first, and if you get drawn in that, you’re not entered into the general.

The rest of this part is just a vague memory, but I think it just removes you from the group and your points from the group.

But…., somebody from Utah really needs to chime out on this. Subscribed!

If any person is ineligible for the draw in a group application the entire group is removed from the draw.

So in your senerio if you drew the limited entry your entire general group application would be thrown out of the draw

Similarly if you draw a limited entry tag your application is removed from all once in lifetime draws for that year.
