Welcome to the forum! Just a word of advice, most of us are EXTREMELY leery of new posters coming on here and asking for unit info. If I was you, I would post up an introduction thread with some hunting and field photos just so we can get to know you. Then scroll through the forum posts and see if there's anything you can offer somebody else advice on, sort of a "scratch your back if you scratch mine" type of deal. There are lots of guys who join Rokslide just looking for a free handout that post exactly like you just did (not saying you're looking for a handout by any means). Post some replies, sell and buy some gear, and build up a good reputation for being helpful and then try asking again. At that point, I bet you get lots more bites from guys willing to share some info (including myself). Good luck, and welcome!

The odds reports will show you the perceived value of the units.

It seems that the central Utah units (beaver E and a few others SE of there, and the one covering the blue men's in the SE) are generally considered the highest quality.

The one down around Boulder and Escalante (can't remember unit name) is high quality and has a guide who's first name is Ryan who is on Instagram. Back when I had IG, I followed him and he was constantly posting pictures of the biggest Utah elk I've seen.

You should look at what draw options you have.... Not many as unfortunately 17 points isn't going very far in the non-resident bonus pool.

Try giving Apex outfitters a call, they always kill some awesome bulls.

I would join one of the services like Huntin Fool, Go Hunt etc. They know the units and outfitters that
are reliable.

Thanks for the heads up. I certainly understand. I'm not much of a poster and trying to get my 10 legitimate posts in so that I can take full advantage of the site. It seems awesome. Like to be able to buy and sell items in the classified but need to get through this stage.

Just my opinion but I would consider Epic outdoors instead of hunting fool. Better service IMO.

Call westernlands outfitting and ask them. Maybe call a couple of the other bigger names and see what they recommend as well
