Used Swarovski or new Zeiss conquest hex?

Like the title says should I go for and older used pair of swaro’s like 10x42 or the new Zeiss conquest hdx 10x42? Prolly get the swaro for couple hundred more than the Zeis’s. Opinions please

Definitely get the Swarovski EL SV or FP IMO, I’ve had the Zeiss SF 10 x 42 and much preferred the Swarovski, when directly comparing them to the SF.

I had the same dilemma and ended up going with older SLCs for the same money. My thought was that I’m in the “top” brand and the resale of what I have now will stay higher in the long run. I also sent them into get fixed/cleaned up a bit and paid very little for a total overhaul and new lenses. I don’t read that that is common with Zeiss. I don’t know what the glass difference is but the market for used Swaros vs used Zeiss is quite different

Since nobody has looked thru the new Zeiss HDX there's no way to know

I have been told great things about the new Zeiss HDX and if what I'm told turns out to be fact at $999.99 they will be impossible to beat
