I ordered a Fayetteville zip top, they have a sale going now. US made polartech power grid. We will see how it is when it gets here.
I’m still waiting for my zip fleece to show up. Hoping it makes it here before Friday to give it a good test on the coast this weekend.

my question is why isn't Forloh getting more love. Ive been to their flagship store and bought a pair of their pants and belt. Extremely high quality and screams high end technical gear. In general they are on the higher end of weight but pretty close to Sitka in weight and fit. I've heard some say they were turned off by 650 fill down garments, but at this time they can only get 650 duck down in bulk in the US. I've actually played with a bag of the duck down in their store and it much more down plumes then I expected.
They need more options and I’d buy more

I ordered mine over the weekend, not shipped yet. I just saw they had a sale now. 63 bucks for a us made polargrid fleece, not a bad price.

I’ll be sure to report back when it comes, it will get lots of use yet this year.

They seem like they have a good amount and are always making more. For a newer company id say they're doing pretty good, although it seems crazy to come out with packs before tall sizes, judging from the interest and complaints ive seen on here in regards to tall pants

Pack seems like kind of a flop to me, saturated market. I’d buy more technical apparel in a heartbeat. I’m hopeful they add to their apparel line, they don’t even have the bare minimum yet imo.

I agree with you on the pack. Curious what else you'd like them to make? I know I'd like to see some zip off baselayer bottoms, boot gaiters and gloves. Maybe some merino pieces if possible. I think they're doing pretty good for the amount of time they've been in business tho

Mid layer fleece and or other mid layer that’s not down
Cold weather headwear and base layers
Gloves
Warmer base layer bottoms
I’d even like to see more daily wear options, I’d think they could really extend their market if they made some solids in stuff that isn’t too technical.

I bought a couple things from them. Hard time I’m having is that I have a closet full of Sitka and Kuiu to wear out first.

I totally hear ya on having other clothing already. I think they do have a beanie and a "technical hoodie" but i havent tried either. The thing id like to see most from them personally is a super warm zip off baselayer bottom, preferably merino

I plan to try the hoody for summer, it’s way too light for anything other than next to skin and summer use though if it’s anything like the other pieces I have made of the same material. Wouldn’t mind some merino from them to.

Looks like they have a beanie. That’s new since I ordered.

Well they have a couple variations of a lightweight warm weather hoody, but theres a heavier one that i havent tried which is what i was talking about. Not sure if you saw it on their site

The heavy one (upf technical hoodie) is still not heavy and to me doesn’t compare to a mid layer fleece. It’s a warm weather item. Heavier than their hooded long sleeve shirt but lighter than your normal grid fleece.

Yeah, if I would have known that, I would not have ordered it.
But, I do kinda like it and plan to keep it through the spring. I would like to have their lightweight shirt in a short sleeve, to wear under the hoodie. I think that combo would be great on spring days covering lots of mountain miles. Other than that, I am not sure when I will be wearing it.

That lightweight one is super nice, wore it almost all archery season last year. I bought another one for spring bear cause they came out with the permethrin one and i HATE ticks lol

I bought them for spring bear but haven't worn them much yet, its pretty cold and wet here lately. Maybe I'll do my ruck in them today tho. They remind me of the stone glacier lite pants a bit but fit better
Thanks, any more feedback would be appreciated. Right now I run Kryptek Sonora and Kuiu Kutana for warmer weather/early season hunts. I don't need the FORLOH pants but I'm interested in the fit/fabric/weight of them for sure.

So i wore them for my ruck workout yesterday, they are super thin and definately for warmer weather, so i was a bit chilly until a few mins into it when i started sweating. After that they were amazing, they breathe really well and the cooling feature seems to work like the hoody with the same feature. I sweat a TON and i feel like these were the best pants ive worn for getting extremely sweaty. Definitely kept my legs cooler than normal and what little sweat they absorbed dried very quickly after i got back to the truck. The material is very thin and is actually a bit thinner than the SG lite pants i had, the fit is good but slim on my thicker legs. Hope that helps
