Who has a US OG that likes it enough that they’d buy it again? I have a 20” 6.5 creed that I have a DD LTI on but would like to try some shorter.

If you aren’t shooting larger than 7mm, the OG65 is more suited to most people. It’s quieter and lighter.

I liked the OG enough that I bought an OG 6.5. I don’t see a reason to purchase a second OG unless I started shooting a ton of .277-.308 caliber rifles.

Would you say there’s a big difference from the OG to the OG 6.5?

I would say that with a .264 caliber or below there is noticeably better suppression for the OG 6.5.

I think the ideal cartridges for the OG are a .308, 7mm08, or similar.

An airlock ZG will be much better on a 20” 6.5 CM
Depends on intended use. Airlock specifically points out they make back country hunting cans not intended for moderate volume use.

The OG is intended for moderate volume use (lots of practice with a bolt gun), but not high volume (gas gun, duty use).

From a strictly hunting perspective the Zero Gravity would be my choice. But, I also want to put a lot of rounds down range and not worry about the can. So for me, the OG65 was the better choice.

Edit: I was basing this on about minute 42 of the Exo podcast. The concern with PRS is mirage from the heat, not can damage.

I still say it depends on intended use. The UM doesn't have a firing schedule (but does warn against over heating), the Airlock does and I can exceed it with a bolt gun.

Today the owner dumped 100 rounds through a 6.5zg on a 16” 6.5 prc with no issues . There’s nothing to worry about .

In about how much time were those 100 rounds shot? Website calls out 15RPM

I’d also be interested in hearing the difference in tone between the OG65 and the 6.5zg

Also, not sure how I feel about a brand new supressor company. If I have issues in say 3,4,5 years etc, will they still be around or do I own a paper weight?

Do you talk about anything on here other than airlock?
I only bring up airlock when people ask for silencer advice . This guy has one of the quietest silencers made , do you really think he’s gonna be happy going to the other end of the spectrum with an OG ?

-It was 100 rounds in 6 minutes I believe he said .
-Tone is a cope for “loud” In the OGs case
- unknown is also a brand new suppressor company
- the ZG will make a terrible paper weight since it’s so light . My OG on the other hand is currently a great paperweight
