Who has a US OG that likes it enough that they’d buy it again? I have a 20” 6.5 creed that I have a DD LTI on but would like to try some shorter.

If you aren’t shooting larger than 7mm, the OG65 is more suited to most people. It’s quieter and lighter.

I liked the OG enough that I bought an OG 6.5. I don’t see a reason to purchase a second OG unless I started shooting a ton of .277-.308 caliber rifles.

Would you say there’s a big difference from the OG to the OG 6.5?

I would say that with a .264 caliber or below there is noticeably better suppression for the OG 6.5.

I think the ideal cartridges for the OG are a .308, 7mm08, or similar.

An airlock ZG will be much better on a 20” 6.5 CM
Depends on intended use. Airlock specifically points out they make back country hunting cans not intended for moderate volume use.

The OG is intended for moderate volume use (lots of practice with a bolt gun), but not high volume (gas gun, duty use).

From a strictly hunting perspective the Zero Gravity would be my choice. But, I also want to put a lot of rounds down range and not worry about the can. So for me, the OG65 was the better choice.

Today the owner dumped 100 rounds through a 6.5zg on a 16” 6.5 prc with no issues . There’s nothing to worry about .
