I just did a 13 day Alaskan Yukon moose hunt with my Kuiu Pro 7800 bag and absolutely loved it. I did deboned meat loads of 100 lbs all day long with no problems. We tagged two bulls in three days humping everything the bag & frame was flawless.
That's pretty impressive, congrats on the moose! Can you offer any comparison to other top end packs, specifically Exo? Also, if you had to pick some negatives of the Kuiu pack, what would they be?

I sold my SG Sky 6800 just didnt like the straps. My hunting friend has the same Kuiu 7800 as me he also has a Kifaru Reckoning. He said the Kifaru was more comfortable with the padding but it is heavier. I hauled his moose straight loads for 13 hours without stopping with my Kuiu.

No experience with SG or Exo packs but I really love the kuiu packs and the new pro suspension. I’m currently running the new suspension on the ultra 4000. I’ve noticed a significant difference in comfort while loaded heavy. The fit of the new hip belt is a game changer and it seats really well. The old one would pinch my hips a little bit every time I had more than a hind quarter in the pack.

The pro suspension is a huge upgrade over the old suspension. If you order the pro suspension just call in to order it and tell them you have an older bag and they will send the adapter kit with your order as well.

I recently just picked up an exo K3 4800. Now I'm a whitetail hunter but so far just in hiking and trying it out with weight in it. I love the accessibility of the pockets and the fit is perfect for my frame. Well worth the money in my opinion

Only squeak I’ve had this year with the pro ended up being the bladder hook attachment point at the top of the pack. Bladder was full with an empty pack so there wasn’t anything at the bottom of the pack to support it.
Lumbar pad is super supportive and very grippy
