since you clearly “do not care” and you don’t like or dislike products yet you seem to take any shade the OG gets very personally.

No. I don’t understand how in the face of ALL evidence- you keep saying what you are. If people where stating demonstrably untrue things about TBAC, CGS, AB, Surefire, DD, etc, etc cans- I have, and will challange them on it.
I went through this exact same process on here about scopes, terminal ballistics, actions, triggers, stocks, and now suppressors.

There’s like a dozen people, maybe more here on RS that have returned their OGs because they are disappointed with them. I’m sure even more would return their OGs scythes, banish 30s and Alaskan 360s if they could. Clearly there is something else going on.

And, you are comparing a can that actually measures 132-134 dBA as it is stated, to cans that come apart (that I also warned about), and cans that meter close to, and over 140 dBA?

If it’s as awesome as you say, why are there so many dissatisfied customers???

Mine was used on a 22” -6.5 prc , not sure about the others guys who messaged me . Rokslide is the biggest echo chamber ever . I’m sure any random Rokslider you choose would believe whatever you say over their own lying ears .
Anyway I already have 4 stops on the way out west to let people hear the OG , don’t wanna re-nig on them .

My OG isn’t loud, is it louder than Raptor 8 yes, but Raptor 8 is significantly longer and fatter. Really the biggest difference between OG and Raptor 8 isn’t peak sound reduction but recoil reduction. It’s exponentially larger in volume so it should reduce both more.

You are basically bought a Tundra and bitching when it doesn’t pull 10k lbs like a 6.7PSD….. when the specs of the tundra clearly stated it wouldn’t, but still would get to finish line

I just dont get the bashing. I haven’t found a better 4” can including AB raptor 4 or even the 5” A10 with 5 baffles . Not sure why people think physics is subjective.

OG is a good hunting can. I think they over built it and could have brought it to market in the 8-9oz range, but with the recent surge in other cans I get it.

If you didn’t under stand what you where buying that’s fine, they refunded your money, so I’m not sure why you are still pissed

I still think the OG is a gimmick, just like a banish 30, TBAC ultra 5 etc. is it junk? Nope, just a product that needs a specific customer.

I must of got the loudest OG made and coincidentally the quietest raptor 4 ever made . Because myself (the shooter ) and several onlookers said they were roughly the same , even some saying the raptor was better .

The reason I’m still bringing this up is because I refuse to let people continue to get gaslit by this guy , he’s obviously way over invested in this product and even said the OG was his idea …. Can you see why he would be biased ? The OG does nothing the raptor 4 doesn’t already do , the raptor is actually more versatile.

Do you ever actually answer questions or acknowledge when something you stated was incorrect? I misstated something you wrote, you pointed it out, I acknowledged it apologized and edited my post with the correction.

You just say incorrect random nonsense, then when corrected never admit that you did, address it, or correct it. You just follow up by saying other incorrect nonsense.

But telling people they gas lighted you is absurd. I’m in TX and have 6 other cans by three different makers, I have zero to do with UM or Us. The OG is a great hunting can, you gain almost 2” of barrel Vs 6” cans while still being well under 140 dBA .

You want the quietest can go stick the PTR vent 1 on your rifle and enjoy and full 8.75” past the muzzle.

I just don’t get the hate. Makes zero sense, especially after a refund

Oct 4/5 I believe Ryan is planning on doing a Rokslide get together (is supposed to post it) where those who come will get to shoot their cans and others over the meter- so, yes.

There is enough FACTUAL information on this thread for a buyer to make an informed decision. Buy an OG or don't buy an OG.

The recent meter results really surprised me. I was itching to shoot an OG so found a guy local and we met up at the range. His was on a 22" tikka 6cm shooting 108's. I had my 22" tikka .243 shooting 108 handloads going 120fps ish faster with a raptor 8 without reflex (I cant tell enough of a difference to add the weight of the reflex). I had them go shot for shot back and forth so I could listen. Stood directly behind them without ear pro in (I know i know I'm going to hell now).

To my ears the raptor was noticeably quieter with a much "softer" (don't know the appropriate descriptor) tone. Not to say the OG was LOUD or bad but there was a definitive contrast between the two. So the metering being so close is interesting.

^^ Karl just posted more real world experience that forms tests aren’t accurate . Trust me , you don’t need a meter to notice the difference. I’ll be traveling around the next few months letting anybody demo mine if they want . My dms are open
