Unknown suppressors OG testing

I'm wondering what people actually expected out of a 4" "out front" can regardless of what brand is on it. There's no magic formula......volume rules.
You sure about that? I'd say pretty much everyone agrees the OG is quieter than an UL5. Also, the Airlock looks pretty interesting and is in that same length.

Yeah, I am. Compare most any 4" can with a 6" can and see what sound suppression you get, and I'm not picking on OG at all as I'll probably wind up witn one that appeals to my uses. This clown named John Burns was pushing his compact cans (Wyoming Arms) and was proven to be a clown.

I didn’t get my first silencer 6 months ago bud, I have many quiet silencers and don’t need your scythe . I’m also going to really enjoy making videos on the OG to other cans , that way people can have a more informed opinion and don’t flush $1k down the toilet .

PS : if you get rid of your scythe you won’t have a silencer you can shoot without earplugs

I’m curious and all about testing but as I mentioned in your last video, I honestly could not hear any difference between the cans you tested.

In your slomo video I could see gasses escaping from the OG but how does that relate when there is no audible noise differences on your video?

You don’t trust what US put down for DBs on the OG, and that’s our opinion.

Why should I trust your testing? What equipment and methods are you using that are better than US?

explosive gases escaping a silencer won’t make it louder ? My goodness this place is amazing .

Again I’ll literally let anybody shoot them side by side

The next year or 2, the suppressor world is gonna change pretty drastically. 3D printing and an easier purchase process is going invite competition and demand innovation.

yeah I doubt they would do that either …

No, I mean your assertion that they misrepresented the sound rating is a big claim, if true. Like lawsuit territory.

And, if your assertion is not true, then you are just badmouthing or libeling them at this point.

None of us is objective about these things, but I trust Cliff’s descriptions of how they did the testing over your subjective experience.

I , like most consumers don’t have the instruments to test db numbers .
I was being tongue in cheek because you’re making claims that a company lied.

Do you even have an OG ?
No, and I don’t particularly want one. If anything, that should make me less biased, right? I’m not saying the OG is or isn’t good. I’m saying that claims of it being one of the loudest suppressors ever, or not be accurate to advertised specs, should be backed up with legitimate evidence.

FWIW, my next can will probably be the Airlock, or maybe the OG 6.5. It won’t be this year as I’m not in need of another suppressor, and this is my first year focusing on archery.

If you’re serious about side by side, and find yourself in Denver area, shoot me a PM. I’m about 45 mins west and would love to see the Airlock in person.

From the outside looking in:

People don't argue this much about how loud quiet cans are.

What do you mean? The statement was made that the manufacturer lied about the sound rating for the product. That is a very different thing than whether 133 is louder than 127.
