Unknown suppressors OG testing

I’m a tempted buyer but cans are forever, i haven’t seen a single video clip compared to other cans so it’s just hard to send 1200$.

Need to look up a little more toward the end of the process since I paid more attention early on. Excited to see some testing

Edit* sounds pretty dang good. Would really improve the balance on my shorty that currently sports an enticer L… tempting

I think the time consuming part with the shipments is getting in contact with SOT for paperwork. Playing phone tag, etc. I also believe the demand was not as great as they expected as orders did not get shut down. You can order one right now with a print window of June 14-28.

A bunch of buyers have fatter barrels.
My SOT is guiding bear hunters right now, so UM is having a hard time getting hold of him. Haha. I don't care, it'll get here when it gets here. Ultimately it'll go on my Marshal I have ordered. So who knows when that'll ship... 😂😎

After the Og-L comes out, this may very well look like a truer statement. If the og-l is similar in size and suppression, the regular OG is kind of pointless to order if you have even 1 barrel larger than it's max. I too think the demand was a little softer than expected. Good for us that ordered one tho. I'm excited to try it out.

They posted about the ogl on Instagram earlier, it has 6.5 and .30end caps and even a brake cap

OG-L will reach a much larger audience then. The OG is kind of, some what niche imo. Has there been an expected release date yet? I'll grab one if those to, if the OG proves to be a winner.

With replaceable end caps it would instantly make the $1000 OG obsolete. Like, in a week.
I don’t see how? I’ve tried others end caps and I have two 6mm cans(polonium and Noah ti) and don’t notice them being much if any quieter. I’m not falling for the end cap thing. I’m happy with the 6mm cans and have plenty of places for them but to my ear they don’t better 30 cal. Also the barrel diameter for the OG doesn’t seem to be problem. I guess I look at it the opposite way than some are. If I just have 1 barrel that it will fit that enough. I don’t swap them around every shot and each can doesn’t have to fit every rifle. Just like scopes I like to set something up and leave it alone.

Having a model with those options would make sense. Nothing wrong with options. The way I see it I hope I like the OG as well or hopefully better than the ones I currently have. I also hope every model they offer going forward is better. I won’t be upset if they come out with a model that is better than the one I currently have. I hope all the suppressor companies are able to make improvements and get better suppressors on the market. It’s good for everyone.

Absolutely!

I have only had one can that has been rotated through 8 guns for the last 5 years. Sometimes on all of them on the same range session. I agree on .30 cal cans doing plenty well for smaller calibers. So I’m one of those rare people that has a configurable can and does change it.

I personally, outside of trying a brake, don’t care about can diameter either. But if I have an option for something that cost about the same but can be adapted more later if desired I’m always going to pick that option. Just in case someone comes up with something crazy that reduced recoil by a bunch and doesn’t increase noise intolerably.

I figure the OG-L will be priced at $1200-$1300. Just a guess. I’m sure it won’t be the same as the OG.

Other than a 19-20” 300win most of my chamberings are smaller and more alike than different. As far as weight and length most of my cans are more alike than different too. The only one I’ve used that I could certainly tell a difference was a friends Hyperion. I don’t have any equipment but on the 300 I could tell a difference in sound and recoil both. On my 260 ctr I could tell a difference but not as much. On 223AI I think I could tell a difference but again not near as much. Nothing scientific or even accurate about my findings but leads me to believe size matters. In both cartridge size and suppressor volume. I said all that nonsense to say maybe one of the future models might be larger/more volume but possibly not add as much length as the Hyperion does. Maybe with OTB it would also balance a bit better for its size? Just kinda thinking out loud while setting at work waiting on a call….lol.
