Unknown Suppressors NHS Review

How does this can do with only a single layer of earpro? I’m normay doubled up with nfmi plugs and amps at a match because of people with brakes…. But if I were to take this can hunting or on a range day, how would it do with only a single layer?

You’d be more than fine. I shot next to 5 or 6 NHS’s at an NRL recently and they were more quiet than my Scythe STM with anchor brake that I hunt with bare ear and practice with just muffs year round.

I cant believe I ever happily got on a firing line packed with apa bastards and 419 brakes on every rifle.. At the zero board last weekend guy got on the bench 8' to my side and the gas from the CHAD was hitting me in the face. F that noise! So glad the industry is progressing on these recoil focused cans.

Trust me, the start is lined up with the collar.

Edit: @lintond hope this helps you too.

The times they are a changing...

Three years ago I'd see probably 80/20 brakes vs cans. Today it's the opposite.

We have been working with can chaps Nick Gebhardt to make a cover for the NHS. I have some samples and they are super simple and some of the highest quality. It took forever for him to get the patches for cobranding. I believe he is working up a production run of covers so be on the lookout for that! I'll post up some pictures today!

Here is what it looks like! So excited to get them in!

I have an NHS and a Magnus-k with the recoil-x. The NHS is lighter, quieter, less recoil and cheaper. I used the magnus on my elk hunt this year and I'll start using the NHS from this point forward. I still use brakes in competition, though.
After being squadded today with a NHS, Magnus k with recoil x, and myself with Magnus S with recoil x, I would say the NHS is quiet than the Magnus K/Rx and very similar to the S/Rx. Still haven't shot a NHS, so can't compare that

shoot that might make me buy one. Even though im
Putting it on a 6UM, which it’s probably too effective for. I like my maverick on my 6BR, but I guess it seems like the NHS is better than the maverick?
