Unknown 22OG

We get it, you cant possibly admit you were wrong in your initial assumptions..

Stop being a troll. I was not wrong in my “initial assumptions”. You post exactly what you believe I was wrong about, and I will happily quote you what was actually written and why.

You consistently have bad “takes” on subjects, yet keep making the same trolling comments constantly.

Your typical "troll" post. Keep at it. Someone questions you and they are "obtuse" or "trolls"
You sir are a true narcissist

There is not a single poster on this board that has been “questioned”, cursed at, lied about, or trolled more than I.

Im done with you. Keep on keeping on

Of course you are. Because you can’t show me being inconsistent or wrong. I have been saying the same things the entire time.

Btw- one of the largest test agencies in the world just might be including dry fire dB numbers in a report this year…. What do you want to bet I was correct about dry fire being 114-120 dB too…?

Just ordered a og6 for my 6cm and 223.Think I’ll prefer the versatility plus in 6 months there will be something better out!
I want one of these but just got the OG 6-s. I am really hoping this becomes a thing again in the future if we don’t buy this time only. Orrrr the self control will collapse and I will be in on this round 🫣
Me to!
Or just wait 6-8 months and something new will be out!

I for one do appreciate all the work Form does in getting us data and firsthand experience with various hunting equipment. But like I learned a long long time ago with damn near anything in life. Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see. Im anxious to see how the OG22 meters in a 3rd party evaluation. Admittedly im definitely on the fence about going ahead and getting one bc I love my Reaper can

But they're (UM) claiming that it's going to be a one time run for roksliders....😯....FOMO marketing. Admittedly, I want one!!

Like I said, I’ve heard way more than once that it’s a 1 time run for only Roksliders. Even if that changes, it won’t be anytime soon. We have plenty of other models we’re making sure we try to stay caught up on. This is 100% what I’ve heard and has been discussed. Not trying to pull a fast one on anybody and release this model a month down the road. That’s absolutely not the plan. We’ve been asked a bunch of times to make a 22 cal OG, so while we will obviously make a few $$$ off of this, we’re mostly doing it to make you guys happy. With that said, they’re very very good and I personally plan on running one on a 22 creed.

I didn't mean for that to be taken negatively, really. Shit, Ryan said in a podcast that there'd only be 100!! (The same one where he said July 6th!! 🤣)

If it's as good as it appears to be, I hope it becomes a staple in the US lineup - I have 3 kids shooting .223s and I can't buy 3 right now.

I haven't been compulsively checking this thread today because I want to wait on reports from other dudes testing it.

Pretty sure the 100 are already sold judging by the interest here. Maybe if it's a successful yall will take back orders if some people were slow to order/website issues.

Is kinda cool a company will do this for its cult following.

I think they’re going to go quick. Rokslide has been a big part of where we are today so I know that doesn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.

I’m just here to say “Impaaaaact”’when you hit a steel target

Is your obtuseness completely on purpose?

You cannot be this dense.
@Formidilosus, it’s interesting that such a simple question got such an emotional response from you. Perhaps I was a bit snarky, and for that I apologize. That said, you’ve spent plenty of time publicly dissecting other companies’ performance claims—Airlock unfortunately being one of the more obvious examples. And the irony here is that you’re reacting to me exactly how the companies you criticized/dissected probably wanted to react to you…

If the scrutiny was fair when you were asking the questions, it’s fair now too. Maybe the better approach was to just answer the question originally.

@Formidilosus, it’s interesting that such a simple question got such an emotional response from you. I was a bit snarky in the final sentence and for that I apologize.

There is no emotion- I have no desire to once again go round and round with someone who cannot or will not understand this. Most of your posts I see on this board is repeating nonsense about products you’ve never used. Your question(s) were not legitimate, or if they were there is nothing more I can do to help you, as in the thread the answers were given.

and… I thought it was a “genuine question? If it was a genuine question- why did you delete it?

That said, you’ve spent plenty of time publicly dissecting other companies’ performance claims—Airlock being one of the more obvious examples.

Correct- just as I have with scopes, actions, rifles, packs, sleeping bags, clothing, bullets, spotting scopes, binos, LRF’s, tripods, etc etc.

Btw- what do you think that I said, that I was incorrect on in regards to Airlock? What about any other suppressors?

The irony here is that you’re reacting to me exactly how the companies you criticized/dissected probably wanted to react to you…

No. You troll. Saying the same nonsensical thing repeatedly is not “asking genuine questions”. Again- please feel free to post what I have stated to other suppressor companies that you believe is not correct… because I will screenshot what I stated.

From memory:

1). That a normal muzzle forward can wasn’t 123 dB in a 308- I was correct.

2). That port pop on an AR15 isn’t low 130 dB- I was correct.

3). That a thin Ti can with high back pressure will show issues more than cans that are not so aggressive- I was correct.

4). That ultra high back pressure cans cause issues in the field with pressure and sticky bolts- I was correct.

As for Airlock, I shot a ZG65 quite a bit this year (most likely for more rounds than anyone else on this board), and had three others brought to classes. If someone wants that type of can, it’s probably the best on the market… and it still has the downsides that I stated it does.

Please feel free to post what you believe I have been wrong about, or inconsistent on. I’ve already posted screenshots of what I actually wrote- that were consistent with what I am still saying.

If the scrutiny was fair when you were asking the questions, it’s fair now too. Maybe the better approach was to just answer the question.

Once again- I have been “questioned”, trolled, cursed at, and lied about more than any poster on this board…. And more than any poster on this board have been proven correct, repeatedly.

You do not ask a question, get a real answer and then go “oh, that makes sense” and then apply it to future thought. Much like huntharder, no matter how many times things are shown to you, or explained to you- you just keep repeating the same things over and over.

It’s not hard-

“Our can meters 125 dB on a 300wm”

“You know there are no normal cans that have been measured that meter 125 on a 300wm?”.

“Our cans do”

“Ok, can you hear the firing fall?”

“No.”

“Low 120 dB range and you can hear the firing pin”

Then later-

“223 meters ‘x’..”

“No, I don’t believe the numbers the meter is putting out, because I don’t fully believe any number that these meters put out.”

“And yes, you can sometimes hear the firing pin fall behind the rifle. Not only the shooter, but bystanders can sometimes hear it”.

Please explain where you see discrepancies between those two examples.
