Unknown 22OG

Dang it !!!!

Makes me almost consider a skinny barrel 🤔

Ya……no ….. ain’t happening….. I’ll wait for the
Big Boy suppressor 😉

C’mon August !!!

Considering 99.9% of 22 cal rifles come factory threaded 1/2x28 it would make a ton of sense actually. 5/8x24 just means another damn adapter

2/3 of my custom/semi custom’s are 5/8. I guess I don’t have a problem running an adapter personally to have the option to run it on either size vs being hosed on a 1/2 thread can . But yes more factory are 1/2.

But you’ll probably never see a 1/2 OG OTB can. The tooling barely works for 5/8… Any smaller and it’s just not working at all. Plus try getting ti powder out of a 1/2 hole inside the reflex portion. No thank you.

I guess? He quoted me, then stated “he”- didn’t know if I missed something.
I know his English isn’t great, but that seems to be what was happening. I’m not sure I’m understanding the confusion, frankly. Either way, that post alone probably sold several of these.

It's a miss for me. Heavier and an inch longer than the 6-s, but you gain suppression. I think where i'm at, I would rather have the versatility of 6mm or 6.5mm, less weight but have it be a touch louder. So far, I have noticed anything in the 120's is pretty damn quiet to me and good enough. 4" otb eliminates it from a bunch of AR's as well. For a bolt action .223 dedicated can, i can see it tho.

You just need to build a 16" 22 creed

This is where im at…I didn’t buy my first Tikka till last year, now I have two at UM to be cut and threaded. The 223 is getting a RokStok and the ZT scope. This can seems like a good fit for the rifle that’ll probably get the most use, and my other can will either live on the AR or get moved around.

A couple hundred rounds today of Norma 69gr Match (awful), and 55gr ADI SBK.

URG-I, 14.5” mid gas DD, standard carbine buffer and spring. Ejection is at the 3 o’clock- maybe 2:30.

Some bill drills, and a kill at the end.

Whats an acceptable time on a bill drill here?

Haha. “Acceptable”…

7 yards, on demand, no misses out of an 8” circle- competent is a 1sec first shot, and .25sec splits between shots. So, 2.25 seconds or so.

I have an 18" 22 creed that wears the OG65. Nano on the way, might replace the OG65 or I will put it on my .223. Still undecided.
Similar dilemma for me....I have a Nano on a 16" 22 creedmoor and I really like it on the 223, as well. I was going to pick up an OG65 that would cover a handful of 6.5s and the 22creed, but i have a couple good 30cal cans that I am happy with on the 6.5s. So now I'm thinking this OG22 on the creed, Nano on the 223s and maybe grab a 6.5 specific suppressor down the road at some point. This is hard...

In your opinion, is the OG65 pretty effective on your 22 creedmoor?

I've had no complaints with the OG65 on my creed. It's slightly louder than my ZG7 but considerably quieter than my OG30.
