Unit 47 elk hunting

My cousin and I drew for unit 47 Colorado elk hunt. Going to be there about ten days . Back packing in and hoping for some action. Any information on unit ? We’re going to be there sept11-20 archery.

Opportunity to? I love camping. I love hiking. I love anything in the mountains. But once you see how much work it is.. how physically AND mentally demanding it is you’ll want a reward for your efforts. If a local tells you numbers are low I think you should research other areas.
