Unit 4 Wy Bighorn Sheep

Hey Guys, the wife drew a unit 4 sheep tag here in wy. Im not looking for peoples spots, as we are going to put the work in once we get in there. I am mostly interested in people with experience in the area as far as what im looking at for water availability, camping spots, ect. We are experienced in the back country as well as hunting in grizz country alot so Im not looking for that sort of info. Appreciate any advice from the ones that have been in the area.

I had a friend whose wife wasn't a hunter. He put her in for sheep tags in New Mexico and she drew out on the first try.

She missed 3 rams, then decided she was done shooting with a 243. Spent a lot of time worrying about recoil. She wouldn't practice before the hunt and it caused problems.

Always great to have someone show up prepared. Congrats to your lady!

We rode horses in 15 miles and got dropped off, sent an inreach for them to come get us once we filled out
