Unexpected dead Mt lion sighting

That’s an awesome find!! Did you take the head/skull? I def would have (even if super stinky) would be a cool bookshelf skull.

Cats also fight, big Tom’s will kill a young one. Maybe that’s what happened?

On another note, how rare this must be. In all of my thousands of days in the field you always come across deer and elk but never bear/lion/wolf. Anyone know why that is so rare?? They must die somewhere somehow…
