Anybody have any experience with these? I was about to pull the trigger on an EE and found these. Any first hand input would be appreciated.

I looked into them and did some shopping comparisons. They have some good reviews if I remember correctly. After price and weight comparisons I ended up with a 20* burrow from adam @ hammockgear.
Very happy with it so far and the argone material feels amazing. I do have an EE quilt as well but have no real field nights in it yet.

I have no experience with underground quilts and minimal with my EE quilt, but as an active sleeper, the vertical baffles of the EE quilts seem to make sense to me. I would think that the horizontal baffles would be more prone to have down shifting as I roll around.

Perhaps someone with direct experience can chime in to correct me or reinforce that thought.

I'll be very curious to hear more on that Burrow when you get some time with it. I've researched all of these companies and came to the conclusion that the Burrow was the best bang for the buck... but without firsthand experience with any of them I have to rely pretty heavily on specs and reviews.

Did you go with a sewn footbox? I can't find pics of the snap enclosure. I'd love to see pics of your quilt if you have time to post some.

I have the 20 degree flight jacket. Used it on my stones sheep hunt last year with an E vent MLD bivy and was very pleased. Great quality and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. Looking at getting a zero degree as well. Like the fact that you can close the foot box or leave it open and use as a blanket

Keep it coming boys, I'm all ears. I was dead set on a western mountaineering summerlite then started researching quilts. Now I'm all jacked up lol!

I have no experience with the flight jacket quilts, they seemed a bit heavier if I remember the site correctly.

I went with the snap footbox on the burrow. I like the versatility of an open footbox. The burrow uses snaps and the EE footbox is a zipper with a couple tab snaps above it.
MyBurrow 20* is a Regular custom wide. The wide is a 55" and I had mine made 58". Also aside from the argon material (which feels amazingly soft and light against the skin) I had silnylon head and foot protection added for moisture. EE has an option for this but you can ask Hammockgear on the custom form. (I called Adam and spoke with him about everything, very helpful and great service) I'm sure both guys will build however you want to an extent. So my 20* burrow comes in at 22 oz instead of the 18.7 advertised. No biggie for me though, I knew I was adding extra weight.

My quilt with the standard 850 treated down and with the custom options was $315 to my door. I think the EE revelation pro is the closest comparison and it's gonna be over $400. However I cannot speak for or compare the two designs. Both places have great customer service and I Believe EE is a Rokslide sponsor. (not for sure though)

My EE quilt is a 10* Epiphany and is not a good comparison to my Burrow 20*. I have a handful of nights in my Burrow and love using it but nothing under 40* yet. It seems plenty warm. I am a very cold sleeper though and I seem to always need a beanie on my head.

I like Tim's strap attachments on the EE quilts better, just a little more bulk for his straps. The burrow has small loops on the side and Adam adds one extra place towards the top for ground sleepers. I use some small bungi and mini cord locks from Zpacks for my Burrow. A guy could use whatever works best for him.

I haven't noticed much for drafts when cinched tight. As I use it more and into cooler temps I would cinch up a sock, glove, shirt, or shove a puffy in the bottom. Anything really.

I've had my revelation in some pretty cold temps with no draft issues. For what it's worth EE's craftsmanship and customer service is second to none. Never used either of the other two quilts being discussed

We'll for what it is worth EE is a sponsor here I'm pretty sure. I always try to support the sponsors when I can.

I'm all about supporting sponsors but if you get the same thing for $100 less I have to consider that.. Sponsors aren't paying my mortgage 😬

They only go up to 6'2"......is when I stopped reading.....

Same thing I did with z packs. Tim ( EE owner) is a big guy. When he says long/ Wide it's going to fit like it's supposed to. I've got two and they both fit me great at 6' 5"
