That’s a great idea. I hung my holster off of one of the straps that click to the bottom, made for an awkward cross draw. I like this way better. A lot easier to get to. I’m going to have to try that this year.

Marsupial Gear makes a nice hang on holster. Molle style attachment is very secure, draw is easy.

I also run a Marsupial harness and considered carrying my 10 mm in similar configuration. The major factor I went against it is that the barrel points in a sketchy unsafe direction. In other words, you're barrel sweeping the immediate area/people as you turn. Goes against fundamental gun safety rules. If hunting solo maybe okay but not with other safety conscious hunters around. Unlikely shit can happen in the mountains.

Everything is a compromise for sure. I tried a behind the harness holster, pistol at a 30-45 degree downward angle. I wear my harness high and it made for a very difficult draw, and still left the muzzle pointed gut/waist level to anyone standing nearby. Just gotta find what works for you.

Cheap option for smaller 9mm’s, etc., $20 on amazon

Doesn’t solve the barrel control for the neighbor but the velcro works really well for under the Kuiu Harness. I also just rigged the harness “bungees” under the velcro so even in some extreme velcro failure the bungees would still have to break. Been very happy with this so far for my P365 and makes for a really compact setup by having the pistol flush against the harness with handle coming out rather than the pistol flush against your belly.

You guys could buy a $750 industrial sewing machine (used of course!) and make your own!

Is the velcro the only was the holster secures to the bino harness?
Good question, short answer is no. Long answer is, it attaches at the two side release buckles on the side of the harness as well as the top of the harness where the strap goes over your shoulders. You have to disassemble the shoulder portion, put the two loops on the holster in place, then reattach the shoulder harness. Altogether it's held in place by 5 attachment points.

Good to know, I am def interested in what you have going on there. Is there a good video that demonstrated the harness set up or in action?

Not yet, we'll work on that though. We're just getting this going so we have a lot of improvements we can make in terms of getting information out there. Best I can do at the moment is this image. I can say, as far as stability goes, one of our hunters that helped develop this was doing jumping jacks with a Glock 29 in it and it wasn't flopping around or anything. Granted that is a small pistol but gives you an idea of the stability of the setup. These have been all over Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Alaska. We're going to get an Instagram setup real soon and hopefully a video shortly there after. We're a really small operation so bear with me. It's literally me and one other.
