Anyone have any experience with these? I like that they are synthetic due to me hunting in western washington (rain), they have side zips, and the price seems ok. Puffy pants are the only thing I dont have, and we are doing a modern elk hunt just off the slopes of Mt St helens mid october. Conditions can be 20 degrees and snow, to 75 and sunny so it will be forcast dependent. Elevation 4500’.

I have owned a pair for several seasons... They're excellent for warmth when it's wet. Fit is generous for throwing over your pants. Seat material is reinforced, and zips make it easy on/off.

The only knock against them is they're a little heavy in comparison to some down pants ... But if it's going to be wet, these are in the pack.

I have a pair, they are fine and good for your intended use. My size L easily packs into a 5l stuffsack (about 6” cylinder by 10”) with room to spare, so down will be less bulky. But, for the price and given wet wx, I would buy again.
