Kind of a thread hijack, but do yall know if the bolt handle is ambidextrous?
I’ve put them on both left handed and right handed Tikka bolts/actions without a hitch. As noted, they are straight, so they are ambidextrous.

Has anyone heard about the incoming skeletonized version, what kinda weight savings you’re really getting and when to expect that???

How do these compare to the roughtech/ctr knobs? I assume they’re bigger?

I haven't measured them, so if @mxgsfmdpx says they're similar, I'd go with that.

However, I have/had CTR knobs on all my other Tikkas (other than Sterks) and the UM felt bigger - perhaps this is just because it's a more pronounced transition to the ball / it doesn't flare out like the CTR does.

But this is not just psychological - because you can actually grasp more rounded surface area, rather than the flare of the CTR, I think you get more control with the UM.

Had the UM knob not existed, you didn't like the swept-back position of the Sterk, and didn't want to support China with the Turbon aftermarket knobs, I would have said CTR all the way. But now the UM is available, I think it's a better option.

Hoping to clear up a bit of confusion.

It was stated early in the post that loktite 308 is what u want, then 380.

Tried searching for both but keep coming up with 380 only.

Wondering if it was just a typo thing.

Thz for the info.

Got plenty of fletching supplies on hand. Will give that a go.

Otherwise it's only 9 buck for a small tube if you think that's the safer bet.
