UM/S2H/Suppressors/Scopes and More!

Are there/have there been any public updates to the release of the triple six?

I know Cliff made a post a couple weeks ago in the Suppressor forum in the Triple 6 thread. He was going to release it about now but decided he’s going to keep working on it. It just wasn’t enough better than the already great OG 6.5 so he didn’t want to release it and not be much different than the OG 6.5. I know this kind of sucks on one hand, but the other I think it’s great because instead of it being good, it’ll be amazing. He has some pretty smart design ideas but is going to require more testing and the most important thing right this second is taking care of existing orders/products. So be a little patient and early spring is the tentative release date if he’s extremely happy with the finished product. It’ll be worth it and be here before you know it. Thank you!

Thanks for the update. I wasn’t aware there was a separate thread, but I’ll go look for it.

The over the barrel section (reflex) is a sealed expansion chamber. The gases enter in front of the muzzle expand back into the reflex, then go through the baffles to the muzzle and out the front. They are planning a 5/8x24 direct thread with adapters that will fit under the reflex for smaller threads. This is basically the same set up as an AB Raptor except the suppressor and the reflex are all one piece, where as the reflex on the Raptor can be removed and replaced with an end cap. I originally bought the Raptor because it would give me the performance of a bigger can with shorter overall length and had the flexibility to use with the reflex for extra suppression or without it for less weight. Frankly, I almost never use it without the reflex. What they are planning here would be like running a shorter suppressor with a larger reflex that is lighter. I think it’ll be a pretty great hunting can.
Thanks for this explanation. Found it with a quick search in the suppressor forum. Concise and helpful👍
