Yes. Ryan, @PNWGATOR and I picked/designed them. A simplified THLR variant, and a “Mil Duplex”- I can’t imagine anyone will complain about either not being visible on low power.
Looking forward to it. I feel like Goldilocks trying all these scopes on my own. I tried forever to jam atacrs into hunting and since then I’ve settled on Swfa (which is probably the best we’ve got at the moment in the weight and use). But if a THLR reticle is available and under 24 oz I’m in.

The SWFA 6x and 3-9x are really good scopes.

Two suppressors can have identical max dB numbers, but one sounds dramatically better. At the same dB, most people prefer a more hollow sound. For instance: OPS Inc 12th model sounds better behind the muzzle, beside it, and especially in front of it-than other cans that have the same dB or even lower. Animals react differently to cans that have more of a “CRACK” sound, than they do from cans that have a more “WOOOMMMFFF” sound.

What they mean by “chasing tone, not decibels” is just that- under 140dB, and better sounding at shorter OAL. It’s not going to be a magical can- just what we personally want, and what in my view should have been all along in the US.

Animals react “worse” to the crack vs womf?

In your opinion, what cans on the market have a womf tone?

What part of the can design influences tone? (Number of baffles, spacing between baffles, orientation of baffles, shape of baffles, etc?)

When can we expect to see that pack? I own an Exo and love the frame but the bag has way too many zippers and useless pockets for me. Was planning on trying to stick a SG bag on the Exo frame but this makes me hesitant.

I’d guess if you look at @Formidilosus gear post you’d probably have a good understanding of what he likes and dislikes about the exo and SG packs and take a k4 pack and go from there.

I’ve seen his gear post. That’s why I’m curious on timeline as I’m sure they’ll nail it with his input and I’d prefer to support Exo

More and more and more crap being force fed to the masses. Your stock doesn’t have enough negative comb. Your caliber is too big. Your scope didn’t pass a “drop test”. You’re can doesn’t have the best tone. AND come to our forum and we’ll tell you all about what you need!!!

I’m impressed this is the way they’ve chosen to monetize this forum. It’s def a crafty way to have done it, but I would personally rather have paid a fee than get more consumerism crap force down my throat.

I emailed Mark with Exo a couple months ago after hearing about a backpack on the S2H podcast. He confirmed that the S2H guys are testing bags that Exo built for them and that the new bag would be K4 compatible but everything else was up in the air.

I'm assuming (and hoping) it will be very similar to a K3 bag based on @Formidilosus gear post.

“Forced”? You’re the one who both clicked through and then took the time to type out a comment.

I don't think it's completely clear, but what I'm seeing is that the tone preference is really just for having a sound that spooks the animals less instead of it being a pleasing shooter experience, right?

Do whatever you want man.

Because of this forum I decided to thoroughly check my zero this weekend and found it moved a good amount. I have a few variables to chase down but buying a tested scope might be the solution. If you're okay with a scope that doesn't hold zero that's on you.
