Let see if we can get an order of 25 going for both of these options. Respond to this post with how many of which chambering that you want. I want one 223 wylde if the profile is as light as the BCA barrel. I'll be back with some dimensions shortly.

Added a poll to see if that's an easy way to get a count. Probably have to respond to thread if you want more than 1.
Bare with me, first attempt at a poll...

In my experience very few barrel makers will make really light profile barrels (lots of machine time), so I'd recommend that someone get some desired dimensions posted for the 6x45, as I have no idea on that one.

I am at SHOT Show and talked with an OEM manufacturer that I can do a group buy through.

They will be appropriate fast twist, threaded, portless, pencil barrels. Basically, the ULUL special.

25 is the minimum order quantity.

I think I can do it for less than $95 shipped for the .223 wylde.

The 6x45 will be more if they don’t have the reamer.

Post up the specs you want and any questions.

I think we can safely assume most want threaded, so let's roll with that, and I would prefer stainless, but not a deal breaker if not available. @hereinaz

Hoping to get some opinions on the profile. The BCA basically tapers from .5" to .497". I know there's a standard with gunsmiths that you need .1" minimum for safety, and so if they'll make it, I was thinking of adding 10% to that min wall thickness = .444" (.110" on both sides). So, would be lighter than the BCA by tapering down from. 5" to .444". Still well above minimum.
As a reference, I had a TC contender 30-30 barrel milled down to .5" at the muzzle, and it was excellent.
*it'll flare back up like the BCA to accommodate the 1/2x28 muzzle threads.
What cha think? I love losing more weight on the muzzle end since I run a suppressor...

The 6x45 chamber seems like a go. I circled back to ask.

Get this dialed in and off the ground and I will request a quote in a couple weeks.
I think we should just go with the BCA profile for more strength when the rifle gets fallen upon. Here's a really sad 4 year old rendition of the profile. This isn't exact and includes the extension. I think we should take up the offer to have a barrel mailed to them for an exact copy.
The 1.28" dimension wasn't actually taken at that funny angle.
